A CAPPELLA CHOIR RECEIVES STRAIGHT SUPERIOR RATINGS AT STATE
The A Cappella Choir, for the third year in a row, received a Superior rating at the OMEA State Contest in May. Last school year they received nothing but superior ratings from EVERY judge at both District and State competitions. Congratulations on a job well done!

The Choral Music Program at Defiance High School has a proud tradition of excellence established by decades of commitment and pride in the quality of all the vocal ensembles and musicians that call Defiance home. Members of this program actively uphold and carry on the traditions of quality performance and achievement. There are many opportunities throughout the year in which DHS Choir members will represent our school, community and state. Students from our ensembles participate in regional and state honor ensembles, college workshops, festivals and camps, performances for school and community functions, and many other activities.
